Over-Under Relay: Players line up and pass a ball alternating over their head and under their legs. First team of players to fill their bowl wins.Ģ0. Water Relay: Players fill a plastic cup with holes poked in it (alternative: sponges?) with water from a bucket and run to a bowl about 15 feet away and empty the water into the bowl. The last pair to keep their balloon from popping wins.ġ9. Water Balloon Toss: Pairs of players start a foot apart and toss the balloon to each other, taking a step back after each successful toss. Last player to keep their balloons in the air wins.ġ8. Defying Gravity: Players must keep two balloons from touching the ground using only one hand. The first player to be wrapped in an entire roll of toilet paper wins.ġ7. Wrap It Up: One player wraps another player in toilet paper. First player to break the toilet paper wins.ġ6. I don’t have kids (yet) and I’ve never really been around them much, so I’m totally clueless here! I’ve tried to find activities that are kid-friendly but still fun for adults. My Future Sister-In-Law says the challenge is finding activities they can participate in without “weighing down” their team (apparently no one wants the kids on their team because they want to be able to participate in everything the adults do but they tend to hold everyone back). My issue is that it will be mostly adults (~18 adults, youngest is 23 years old) AND two kids (7-year-old “niece” and 9-year-old “nephew”). I want to impress her and my future family, so I’m really doing my research here! I’m really excited to be a part of it this year, but I’ve from a very small family (it’s been only my mom, dad, sister and me my whole life) so I’m new to big family gatherings and pleasing a large group of people. My Future Mother-In-Law told me last night that everyone has to bring ideas for activities this year to Mothers’ Day brunch. My fiancee has a big family, and every year they do a “Colors Wars” (aka Field Day, Minute to Win It, Activity Day, etc) event for Fathers’ Day. Hey bees!
